I Know! I Know!

Okay, so I know it has been forever since I posted last. Life has been crazy lately! It is 3am and I am at work on Mom/Baby at UVRMC so I thought I would at least write a little update. Sorry, no pictures! I will try to get some up soon though.

Eric is almost done with school. YEA!!! He finished his internship hours a week and a half ago and on May 8th he will be totally done with his Masters of School Counseling. Unfortunately, there are no counseling positions avaliable for next year yet. So the plan is to go back to Park Elementary and teach 4th grade, unless anything opens up in the mean time. He has been taking Tuesday classes so he hasn't been to Bishopric in five weeks, but he'll be back in April. It's been nice to have him home during the day. He does the laundry and dishes and also watches the kids so I can go to my favorite class at the gym. He's a great husband/father and I love him very much.

Tade is doing well also. We have decided to quit the thumb sucking battle. We promised him he could have two kitties if he would stop sucking his thumb. He did well for awhile, but has regressed a lot lately. WHATEVER!!! I am so sick of it that I don't care anymore. We've tried yucky stuff also, but he usually just sucks it off. We took his lovey puppy away and that didn't even work! If anyone has any ideas I would be glad to hear them.

Ashlynn is the same little diva as always. Eric is trying to teach her to share, but she hates it. It's more of a teasing thing on his part because he'll sit there and ask, but she just cries and cries or yells no. One day I am sure she'll master it, but not anytime soon. It's usually food that he's trying to get from her and I can't blame her for not wanting to share. I hate sharing my food too!

I'm doing great also. Still doing two shifts a month at night on the floors and then one or two shifts a week during the day in IV Therapy. It's busy, but with Eric home now it is working out well. I hope this is enough for now. I'll try to put some pictures up soon.

I'm A Princess!

You Are Mulan!

Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.

New Presidency

I am really excited about the new First Presidency for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. At first I was surprised to hear President Uchtdorf's name, but immediately knew it was right. What awesome and inspired men we have leading us today!!! Truly, we thank Thee o' God for a Prophet.

SUPER SAD TUESDAY

I was really dissappointed Mitt Romney didn't do better yesterday. I have been really into the elections this year and I really respect what he is trying to do. I am almost tempted to vote Democratic in November so the next four years can't be blamed on a Republican (who is pretty much a Democrat). Maybe things will turn around for Romney, but I've kind of lost hope.

Taders (aka. Mister)

So since I did a post just about Ashlynn I figured I should do one about Tade, just so you know I don't favor one over the other. Tade is so fun. He is learning so much right now. He keeps me super busy. He is such a good brother too. I feel blessed to have him as part of our family.
He is always making us laugh with the funny things he says. We LOVE him so much!!!

America's Next Top Model Kid???

I know I am biased because she is my child, but Ashlynn got her hair cut a little over a week ago and it looks great on her. Eric kept telling me to cut it, but I was holding on. Resisting. Then Tiffany, my cousin, who cuts hair told me to do it and we went the next day. Tiff did a great job! (Thanks!) Ash is such a princess already. We both love when she's all dressed up, though!!!

President Hinckley

I just wanted to let everyone know that I know President Hinckley was a prophet of God. Not just for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but for the world. What an amazing example of love a service. My aunts used to live in his ward and one Sunday we got to go to their ward and he was there. Then on the way home, we got to walk home right behind him. I was probably only 10 years old, but I will never forget how special it felt to be close to him, even if we didn't even talk to him. What a great man. I can't imagine how happy he is to see his wife again. He'd been waiting long enough. Thank you President Hinckley for your love and service and amazing testimony.
