Strong and spirited. You're no one's girly girl; actually you are very determined person with a strong sense of self. Never let go of that! The only thing that equals your sense of self is your family, but the traditions of society can always be bent to protect something or someone you love.

New Presidency

I am really excited about the new First Presidency for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. At first I was surprised to hear President Uchtdorf's name, but immediately knew it was right. What awesome and inspired men we have leading us today!!! Truly, we thank Thee o' God for a Prophet.

SUPER SAD TUESDAY

I was really dissappointed Mitt Romney didn't do better yesterday. I have been really into the elections this year and I really respect what he is trying to do. I am almost tempted to vote Democratic in November so the next four years can't be blamed on a Republican (who is pretty much a Democrat). Maybe things will turn around for Romney, but I've kind of lost hope.

Taders (aka. Mister)

So since I did a post just about Ashlynn I figured I should do one about Tade, just so you know I don't favor one over the other. Tade is so fun. He is learning so much right now. He keeps me super busy. He is such a good brother too. I feel blessed to have him as part of our family.
He is always making us laugh with the funny things he says. We LOVE him so much!!!

America's Next Top Model Kid???

I know I am biased because she is my child, but Ashlynn got her hair cut a little over a week ago and it looks great on her. Eric kept telling me to cut it, but I was holding on. Resisting. Then Tiffany, my cousin, who cuts hair told me to do it and we went the next day. Tiff did a great job! (Thanks!) Ash is such a princess already. We both love when she's all dressed up, though!!!

President Hinckley

I just wanted to let everyone know that I know President Hinckley was a prophet of God. Not just for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but for the world. What an amazing example of love a service. My aunts used to live in his ward and one Sunday we got to go to their ward and he was there. Then on the way home, we got to walk home right behind him. I was probably only 10 years old, but I will never forget how special it felt to be close to him, even if we didn't even talk to him. What a great man. I can't imagine how happy he is to see his wife again. He'd been waiting long enough. Thank you President Hinckley for your love and service and amazing testimony.

Daily Gem

"[The] will to go forward toward our Savior sometimes requires on-the-spot repentance. It's recognizing we've made mistakes or haven't done what we could to encourage or help someone. These personal course corrections in thought, action, or word are essential for all who desire to come unto Christ. They represent individual choices about how we will touch each other literally and figuratively." (Anne C. Pingree, "To Look, Reach, and Come unto Christ," Ensign, Nov. 2006, 114)
