HELP!!!

Does anyone in Utah have the movie "The Dream Team" (1989) with Michael Keaton or know anyone who owns it? Eric has to watch it for his class and has put it off until the last minute. Call me if you know where I can find it by Wednesday! Thanks!!!

Just a Random Update

Tade made me come in his room and showed my how he divided all his cars by color. It was so cute that I had to take a picture!
This is about our tenth try of taking this picture with the timer.
BELOW: Ashes and her daddy.
We are staying so busy right now. It is crazy! Eric is pretty much a full time stay-at-home dad. Right now he is okay with it, but I'm sure by August we will both be ready to switch roles again. He only has one more week of class and then he is done with his Masters! YEA!!! I don't know which of us is more excited. He has been home though because he finished his internship a month ago, thus his new role. I have been working 2-3 days a week, but I will probably start doing a little more. There is another department in the hospital called Case Management, which is more on the business side of nursing, and I am going to start picking up hours there too. It was hard to work more at first, but as I get used to it it gets easier. Plus, Eric is so good at home. The kids love him. He does dishes and laundry. He cooks dinner. He does better than when I stay home, but come August I will also be really ready to switch back to full time mommy. The kids are great! Just growing like weeds. We are blessed in so many ways. Thanks for being our friends and letting us keep you update through our blog!

St. George Trip during Spring Break

These Pictures are from our trip to St. George a few weeks ago. My parents got a condo down there so I talked Eric in to packing up and going down for a few days. We got there late on Sunday so basically just went to bed. On Moday we went swimming all day! Tade absolutely loved it. He was so fun to watch. All those pictures are on my sisters camera so I'll sere if I can get some. Tuesday we got to go rock climbing and repelling and on a zip line across a canyon, which was so cool. The canyon was beautiful too so it was really fun to hike around. We went on a family date that night to a bowling alley in Hurricane. It was a disgusting place, but the kids had fun so it was good. Wednesday we went shopping and to Chuck O'Rama before heading home. It was a great trip and a much needed vacation!

Book Tag

I know I have been tagged a lot lately and I haven't done any of them so I'm sorry. I am going to do this one of Ana's though because it is 3am and I am at work reading a book so I thought, "Why not!" The tag is this (if I can remember it right): grab the book nearest you, turn to page 123, count five lines down, and type it out. Here it goes!

"Even so, she found herself hoping it was Mr. Nobley."

Does it sound familiar? It is from Shannon Hale's Austenland. I just started reading it tonight. I hope this tag won't give anything away for myself or others who are going to read the book. I am on page 21 and already hooked. So back to reading and I also need to go check on my patients!

Enjoy!

So life is crazy here just as I am sure it is for everyone else, but I thought I'd get some pictures out there and let you enjoy.

My two babies sleeping in the car. Too bad they wake up as soon as the engine shuts off!

It was my birthday in March. Eric surprised me with tons of presents that morning, which included a day at the spa. I was ushered out the door to have a day of luxury. It was so awesome. I got a massage and a pedicure. Hung out in the "relaxation room", reading and eating my birthday cupcake. So great! Then Eric and I got to go out to dinner. When we came home, my mother-in-law had baked a birthday cake. It was great! Thanks for all the calls. It was a special day!

We have been sick as of late, but I think we are on the mend. Nothing serious just lots of boogers!!!

It has always been a goal of mine to run a 5K. Now for all of you avid runners out there, I know it isn't very far but it was still something I worked for and was so proud of myself for succeeding. I run with my neighbor, who is super motivated. Our next goal is another 5K, then a 10K, and if all goes well the Hobble Creek Half Marathon at the end of the summer. (I'm still a little queasy thinking about it!)

We also went to the circus at the McKay Events Center. It was so fun! Both of the kids really enjoyed it!

Just a cute picture of Ashlynn. She is always making me smile.

Tades singing debut!

You might not get another post for awhile so I hope you enjoy!

I Know! I Know!

Okay, so I know it has been forever since I posted last. Life has been crazy lately! It is 3am and I am at work on Mom/Baby at UVRMC so I thought I would at least write a little update. Sorry, no pictures! I will try to get some up soon though.

Eric is almost done with school. YEA!!! He finished his internship hours a week and a half ago and on May 8th he will be totally done with his Masters of School Counseling. Unfortunately, there are no counseling positions avaliable for next year yet. So the plan is to go back to Park Elementary and teach 4th grade, unless anything opens up in the mean time. He has been taking Tuesday classes so he hasn't been to Bishopric in five weeks, but he'll be back in April. It's been nice to have him home during the day. He does the laundry and dishes and also watches the kids so I can go to my favorite class at the gym. He's a great husband/father and I love him very much.

Tade is doing well also. We have decided to quit the thumb sucking battle. We promised him he could have two kitties if he would stop sucking his thumb. He did well for awhile, but has regressed a lot lately. WHATEVER!!! I am so sick of it that I don't care anymore. We've tried yucky stuff also, but he usually just sucks it off. We took his lovey puppy away and that didn't even work! If anyone has any ideas I would be glad to hear them.

Ashlynn is the same little diva as always. Eric is trying to teach her to share, but she hates it. It's more of a teasing thing on his part because he'll sit there and ask, but she just cries and cries or yells no. One day I am sure she'll master it, but not anytime soon. It's usually food that he's trying to get from her and I can't blame her for not wanting to share. I hate sharing my food too!

I'm doing great also. Still doing two shifts a month at night on the floors and then one or two shifts a week during the day in IV Therapy. It's busy, but with Eric home now it is working out well. I hope this is enough for now. I'll try to put some pictures up soon.
